Graphic Novels and Comic e-Books
In response to Covid-19 and library closures, the NJ State Library partnered with BiblioBoard to launch a free e-book library of 4,000 graphic novels and comics available for children and teens in New Jersey until the end of August. Families don't need a library card as long as they are physically located in New Jersey. There are also no hold queues. Click the link above to explore and enjoy!

Learn a new language with the Rosetta Stone Language Program FREE with your Belmar Library Card!
To use Rosetta Stone on Windows or MacOS:
Click the logo above and in the Patron ID field enter your Library Card number with 4 ZEROES before the last four digits on your Belmar Library card. DO NOT click the "Sign with Google" link.
Permanent Card holders: if the last four digits of your library card is 1234, then enter 00001234.
For Temporary Card holders, if you have 0T123, then enter 0000T123.
Then select the Rosetta Stone link and create your account on Rosetta Stone.
How to access Rosetta Stone Mobile
- Prior to logging in for the first time, on your mobile device go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and download the Learn Languages: Rosetta Stone app. You only need to do this once.
- On your mobile device visit this page and click on the Rosetta Stone logo link above.
- Enter your library card number as directed above if prompted. Do not log in with your Google account.
- When the Rosetta Stone screen appears log in with your username and password and choose the language you wish to learn.
- On the next screen click the link that says Launch Rosetta Stone.
- The Rosetta Stone app on your mobile device will launch and load you into your language after a short delay.

The New York Times - FREE 72 Hour Unlimited Access Pass
Follow these instructions below to get your FREE 72 hour Pass:
Step 1: Go to the Library's Front Lawn and connect to the Belmar Library WiFi signal.
You MUST be connected to the Library's WiFi for the Activation process to work.
You cannot activate your pass using your cellular data connection.
WiFi password is: Library1
The WiFi signal is strong throughout the front lawn right up to the sidewalk, so there is plenty of room to maintain social distancing while logging in.
Step 2: In your web browser, click the New York Times logo above or go to this NYTimes Log In link:
Step 3: Save this page as a bookmark in your browser for future code activations.
A.) If you do not have a Free Basic NY Times account, create one here and log in.
B.) If you already have a Free Basic account with the NY Times, simply log in with your email and password.
You will then be provided with an Activation code.
Step5: Click "Activate Now".
You will now have 72 hours of Unlimited Access to the NY Times Digital website's news, sports and all the other sections.
This Activation code is now attached to your NYTimes account. This means you can now log on to the site from a different location or device and still have access during those 72 hours. You do not need to hang out in front of the library to enjoy unlimited access to the NY Times during the 72 hours of the pass's duration.
When the 72 hours ends, you will have to return to the library to get a new activation code for an additional 72 hours of access.
