Tina is an attorney and advocate. Her legal work focuses on estate planning and administration, guardianship and decision making, disability discrimination and special needs planning for individuals with disabilities and their families.
In this session, Tina explains how to prepare your Special Needs child for reaching adulthood at the age of 18. She shares how to determine if guardianship is necessary, and if so, how to set that up and when. She discusses the importance of selecting trustees to handle health, life and financial decisions for your Special Needs child when you are no longer able to do so.
