With Belmar Native Tim McCorry – Composer
Thursday, October 17, 2024 6 PM
Taylor Pavilion, 500 Ocean Ave., Belmar
Composer and lyricist Tim McCorry created this innovative piece of musical storytelling, with a book by Michael Aman, which brings the audience on an inspirational journey from Guatemala to Lopez Island, Washington.
Inspired by a true story, Coyote is a modern American tale of love, magic and adventure. Pedro and Bernadiz are young lovers, determined to be re-united, who turn to a mysterious Aztec figure known only as Coyote to help them make a perilous journey into the United States.
Meet Composer and Belmar native Tim McCorry as he, along with members of the cast and crew present the story and making of his off Broadway musical, COYOTE. Engage with them on a discussion of the story and the issues surrounding it as well as viewing selected scenes from the musical itself in an intimate setting.
THIS EVENT IS FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
