His accomplishments were\nplentiful and diverse: War hero to Nobel Peace Prize winner\, Naturalist to\nImperialist. \nThe 36th president of the United States promoted progressivism\nand strong government control of business. Roosevelt’s domestic political\nagenda was described as a “Square Deal”; emphasizing his commitment to\nensure that the average citizen would get a “fair share”. \nBelieving that the security of the American People would be achieved through leadership on\nthe World Stage\, President Roosevelt ensured that the influence of the\nUnited States would grow to span the globe. The slogan “Speak softly and\ncarry a big stick\, and you will go far” lives on well beyond the life of this\nremarkable man. \n  \nABOUT THE ACTOR \nPeyton Dixon \nAfter receiving his BFA in Theatre Performance from Otterbein College\, Peyton traveled\nacross the country on the gypsy-like journey as an actor. While in Philadelphia\, he was\nintroduced to the world of first-person interpretation\, and found an exciting new world of sharing\nhistory through a personal lens. Peyton has been seen portraying historic figures for the\nRepublican National Convention\, Independence National Historical Park\, and the National\nArchives\, and appearing in documentaries on A&E and PBS. \nPeyton has been a part of American Historical Theatre since 2001. He continues to\nresearch and travel\, endeavoring to combine his passions of performance and American history.\nHis goal is to bring to light the accomplishments as well as the imperfections of our founders\,\nframers\, and other famous figures. Look beyond the statue\, bring them off the pedestal\naltogether\, and see the very real everyman beneath. \n [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column icons_position=”left”][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/Pv6vYta4Xqw?si=OB_K2jJLJcM4PsGC” el_width=”70″ align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column icons_position=”left”][vc_empty_space hide_on_wide=”” hide_on_desktop=”” hide_on_notebook=”” hide_on_tablet=”” hide_on_mobile=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column icons_position=”left”][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/GVdYbW-infg?si=IKF8FLM5wFQRk6_k” el_width=”70″ align=”center”][vc_empty_space hide_on_wide=”” hide_on_desktop=”” hide_on_notebook=”” hide_on_tablet=”” hide_on_mobile=””][vc_btn title=”REGISTER HERE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT” size=”lg” align=”center” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fforms.gle%2FqeGyk41LYi5oAcMs5|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
