DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column icons_position=”left”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1671571590092{margin-right: 25px !important;margin-left: 25px !important;}”] \nPLEASE NOTE:  THERE WILL BE NO HEALTHY STEPS CLASS ON DECEMBER 27. \nTHE NEXT CLASS IS TUESDAY JANUARY 3\, 2023 \n  \nGentle moves to upbeat music! \nHealthy Steps is a therapeutic exercise and dance program rooted in solid principles of physical therapy.  Healthy Steps along with its Music Movement Program is intended to enhance wellness and promote quality of life. \nGinger Decker is a Certified Healthy Steps Instructor and Reiki Master practicing the Healing Arts since 2000. \nThe intent of this program is to help you thrive physically and emotionally.  Upbeat music will guide you through gentle movements. \n\nNo special ability is needed as these movements can be done while seated\nClasses are one hour in length\nBrief water breaks are provided\nWear loose comfortable clothing and clothes\n\n  \nHow you will benefit from this program: \n\nIncrease mobility and flexibility\nenhance energy level\nDecrease fatigue\nIncrease mood level\n\nEspecially beneficial for those with or recovering from: \n\nBreast Cancer or other forms of Cancer\nArthritis\nChronic Fatigue Syndrome\nMultiple Sclerosis\nParkinson’s\nOther chronic or debilitating diseases\n\nThis program is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. \nEvery Tuesday  10 am  \nLower Level Tarzian Media Room \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Tyson \nRonald A. Tyson is Associate Professor and Chair of the English Department at Raritan Valley Community College\, North Branch\, New Jersey. He received his B.A. in English from City College-City University of New York\, and his M.A. in Literatures in English from the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences\, Rutgers University-New Brunswick. \nProf. Tyson is a native Harlemite and still considers New York to be his home\, even though he has been living in New Jersey for thirty years and in Monmouth County for nearly 25 years. He currently resides in Neptune Township with his spouse\, their youngest daughter\, and their cats\, Oshun and Athena. \nProf. Tyson’s academic interests include Composition/Rhetoric Theory\, Colonial and 19th-Century American Literature\, U.S. History\, African American Literature and Culture\, African Diaspora Studies\, American Ethnic Literature\, and U.S. Popular Culture.
