MARTIN LUTHER KING\, JR. \nBorn Michael King and later renamed by his father\, after the Baptist Minister who was a seminal leader of the Protestant Reformation\, Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the world’s greatest orators\, as well as a pastor\, activist\, and humanitarian. \nKing is best remembered for the advancement of civil rights. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for his work combating racial inequality through the use of nonviolent civil disobedience\, an approach refined based on his studies with Veteran African-American civil rights activist Bayard Rustin and his admiration for Ghandi. \nWhile King organized or participated in a great many\, and variety\, of protests\, his most famous speech\, the “I have a Dream”\, was first delivered at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963. \n  \nABOUT THE ACTOR-HISTORIAN \nKeith Henley’s background is one of great diversity. He graduated from South Carolina State College with a major in Chemistry and minor in mathematics and biology. Later\, he went on to study Theatre Education at Camden County College in Blackwood\, New Jersey. He currently owns and operates J.O.Y. Productions\, Queenie’s Homemade Sweets and Catering\, & Alpha Designs. In addition\, he is the Artistic Director and Choreographer for Folkloric Heritage Culture Arts Company Inc. of Cherry Hill\, New Jersey. \nKeith began his historic interpretation career with Historic Philadelphia Inc. and has since worked for American Historical Theatre. He is presently serving as Artistic director for Transformation Theatre Productions of Camden and is the Director of the Theatre Ministry at First Nazarene Baptist Church\, Camden. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column icons_position=”left”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1671571590092{margin-right: 25px !important;margin-left: 25px !important;}”] \nPLEASE NOTE:  THERE WILL BE NO HEALTHY STEPS CLASS ON DECEMBER 27. \nTHE NEXT CLASS IS TUESDAY JANUARY 3\, 2023 \n  \nGentle moves to upbeat music! \nHealthy Steps is a therapeutic exercise and dance program rooted in solid principles of physical therapy.  Healthy Steps along with its Music Movement Program is intended to enhance wellness and promote quality of life. \nGinger Decker is a Certified Healthy Steps Instructor and Reiki Master practicing the Healing Arts since 2000. \nThe intent of this program is to help you thrive physically and emotionally.  Upbeat music will guide you through gentle movements. \n\nNo special ability is needed as these movements can be done while seated\nClasses are one hour in length\nBrief water breaks are provided\nWear loose comfortable clothing and clothes\n\n  \nHow you will benefit from this program: \n\nIncrease mobility and flexibility\nenhance energy level\nDecrease fatigue\nIncrease mood level\n\nEspecially beneficial for those with or recovering from: \n\nBreast Cancer or other forms of Cancer\nArthritis\nChronic Fatigue Syndrome\nMultiple Sclerosis\nParkinson’s\nOther chronic or debilitating diseases\n\nThis program is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. \nEvery Tuesday  10 am  \nLower Level Tarzian Media Room \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
