Week 3: Roy Lichtenstein – Pop Art 

Explore the fun world of Pop Art with Roy Lichtenstein! Lichtenstein created art that looked like comic books, with small dots called “Ben Day dots” and speech bubbles with words like “POW!” and “BANG!” His artwork was bright, bold, and told stories just like comics.

We’ll be transforming cardstock into bold, colorful Pop Art creations with rulers, compasses, markers, pencils, and colored pencils!

In our “Art Youth Series,” children will:
