Week 1: Victor Vasarely – Op Art Hands

Discover the magic of Op Art with Victor Vasarely! Op Art creates amazing optical illusions that seem to move and wiggle right before your eyes. Vasarely was famous for making art that plays tricks on our eyes using simple lines and patterns.

Everyone will create an amazing optical illusion artwork to take home.

🎨 “Art Youth Series: Studio Art through Art History” 🎨

This program welcomes ALL ability levels! Each activity can be adapted to suit individual needs and skill levels.

In our “Art Youth Series,” children will:

  • Create hands-on projects inspired by famous artists
  • Learn fun art history facts while making their own art
  • Try different art techniques that are easy to learn
  • Express themselves in a supportive, encouraging environment
  • Take home their own amazing artwork each week
