ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Michael P. Murphy recently retired in 2023 from a 47 year long career in the commercial insurance business sector. After graduating from Rider University in 1976, Michael started in New York City as a commercial insurance underwriter trainee and held several senior underwriting positions handling many large national accounts and then became the underwriting manager for the local branch office underwriting department. He left the insurance company carrier role after 30 years and then joined a large business insurance brokerage organization locally and served as their senior account executive handling their key client’s insurance portfolio before retiring in 2023.
In 2013, Michael made his first bitcoin purchase and have been learning and following this space ever since … Michael has been a Belmar resident since 2014.
