Art Youth Series: Artist + Studio: Claude Monet

Session 1: Claude Monet – Watercolor and Crayon Resist

Students will create an Impressionist watercolor painting from pencils, white crayons, and watercolor paints on watercolor paper.

Our first session will explore Impressionist painting through crayon water resist techniques.

This program welcomes ALL ability levels! Each activity can be adapted to suit individual needs and skill levels. Join Certified Art Instructor Dawn Lisko as learners experience major art movements and experiment through studio sessions.

Each lesson will begin with a demonstration of new material followed by a hands-on studio project.
Good for all ability levels. Best for grades 1st thru 6th.

In our “Art Youth Series: Artist + Studio,” children will:

• Create studio projects based on major art movements to take home for display.
• Experiment with different materials.
• Express themselves in a supportive, encouraging environment.
• Take home their own art projects each session.
