What is Qigong?
Qigong is an ancient healing art that involves moving the body mind and spirit comfortably with the stillness of meditation. Practice can be fun warming up with mindful flowing movements. Graceful and energizing, you’ll leave a class feeling the whole body stretched, calm, and aligned. Qigong is effortless power
Qi (chi) is Life force energy and Gong is the mastering work of that life force.
DUE TO HIGH DEMAND AND LIMITED INDOOR SPACE,
ATTENDANCE WILL BE HANDLED IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:
Registered attendees will be organized into two groups, A & B.
Due to indoor capacity the groups are limited to a maximum of 20 people.
Each group will meet for Tai Chi every other Friday.
For example, Group A will meet first on Friday, April 28. Group B will then meet the following Friday, May 5. Group A will meet again the following Friday, May 12 , and so on. The Group Meeting schedule is below.
Every Wednesday, if we determine that Friday’s weather is ideal for an outdoor session, then ALL PEOPLE will be welcome to participate outdoors on the Library lawn. IF the weather for Friday is forecast to be unfit for an outdoor session, then the session WILL BE HELD INDOORS and ONLY THAT WEEK’s GROUP will meet for the session.
We will announce HERE on this page the weather status for Friday EVERY WEDNESDAY morning, so please check here to see if you can attend if your Group is not scheduled.
Those who left email addresses on the registration sign in sheet will be notified which group they have been assigned. If you have not left an email address, you may call the Library to determine your Group assignment.
GROUP MEMBERS MUST ATTEND REGULARLY TO MAINTAIN THEIR PLACE IN THE GROUP! IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE SCHEDULED SESSION FOR YOUR GROUP, YOU MUST NOTIFY US EITHER BY PHONE OR EMAIL.
IF YOU MISS MORE THAN TWO SESSIONS WITHOUT NOTIFYING US, WE WILL INVITE THE NEXT PERSON ON THE WAIT LIST TO TAKE YOUR PLACE.
For those who wish to join either group, you may register here to join the Tai Chi Waiting List and when space is available you will invited to join via email. There is room in both groups to admit a few more people immediately, so first come, first served.
Wait List Members will also be notified via email every Wednesday to join the next session if weather permits an outdoor session.
Thank you for your cooperation and participation. We look forward to providing the best possible experience to as many people as we can given space capacity limits.
If you have any questions call the library or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
